Vegetable Folk are said to be the Light’s first attempt at creating humans. I have never met one, and I am not quite sure they still exist.  They are said to be attached to the earth via umbilical cord.

16 of  Almond Moon 5901- Quite amazingly I have learned of a vegetable man living right near Kahal. My Lumdai acquaintance warned me to stay off his territory. He is supposed to be quite vicious and snaps at any intruder with his long sharp teeth.

Commentary #

Since the days of Rafa Aviel, may their memory be a blessing, all Rafas have stayed clear of the vegetable man’s territory. The few encounters we have had ended in thrashing teeth and a few injuries.

I once glanced upon the vegetable man. He wore a beautiful rainbow coat. Remarkably, he was tending to sheep growing likes plants from the ground and geese emerging from pods on his tree! When he noticed me, he growled, and I ran as fast as I could out of the radius of his umbilical cord. Do not enter his territory!!
