Yaron’s father Boaz, a scholar, wanted Yaron to continue his education at the Terida Avodai School. Instead, Yaron decided to do an apprenticeship at the local winery. During that time, he fell in love with hard ciders and started experimenting with various crab apples. At 22, he started his own cidery with his unique blends.

Soon after, he fell in love with Lea while watching her perform one of her plays and convinced her to move back to Kahal.
