Spirit Moon contains the summer solstice, when the lines between earthly and spirit substances blur. During Spirit Moon, the weather becomes hotter.

During the Spirit Festival, the people of Kahal pay tribute to the local spirits in payment for being able to use their land. We give a payment of gold to the Lantook and House Gnomes and all spirits are welcome to join in the festivities. Some benevolent spirits enjoy the festivities, while others avoid it in protest, believing the deal to let the Avodai stay on their lands should never have been made.

The Rafas perform Shadow Plays for all the children– both spirit and human alike. Lantook dancers leap and flip, Lapitoots, known for their beautifully-crafted instruments, perform music. Tables laden with an abundance of hand pies and small treats.

We give our resident House Gnomes gifts, including at least one new outfit. Most families serve elaborate meals to honor our resident friends in the evenings.
